Fort Worth City Officials Expected to Approve Settlement for Taser Death (May 18, 2010)

Fort Worth city officials are expected to approve a $2 million settlement to the family of Michael Jacobs, the man who died as a result of police use of a Taser gun. Mr. Jacobs' death was ruled a homicide by the medical examiner, who indicated Mr. Jacobs was shocked twice, initially for 49 seconds and then for 5 seconds.
