Fort Worth Woman Killed in SUV Crash April 29, 2010

Dawna Casey, 33-year-old woman and mother of two small children, was killed on Thursday morning, April 29, 2010, when the Toyota Highlander she was driving wrecked just west of Old Denton Road near the Monterra Village apartment complex near Fort Worth. Witnesses indicated that Ms. Casey was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed while she passed several vehicles prior to passing through a ditch, hitting a concrete culvert, going airborne and rolling over several times.

Toyota has been in the news recently for defective gas pedals and floor mats which required millions of recalls. Fortunately, the two children appeared to be unharmed, but not surprisingly were in shock after the tragic accident.
