Blog Category:On May 9, 2010 at approximately 1:30 a.m., a woman and two children were killed when their 2007 Toyota Corolla slammed into a concrete pillar, which held an overhead sign. The accident occurred in the 5800 block of the South Freeway service road, near Altamesa Boulevard in Fort Worth. After the Toyota Corolla crashed into the pillar, the car caught fire. According to authorities, five children were in the car at the time of the accident. Two of the children and the driver died at the scene. It has not yet been determined whether a defect in the gas pedal, floor mats or brakes caused this accident.
